Native American quotes still represent the soul of America. Long before the ‘new world’ settled down, the ‘Indians’ lived a life with nature – not against – and some of the famous native American quotes have even more wisdom and prediction power than ever.
What do the native American quotes and wisdom express?
Basically they express their love, respect and connection to Mother Earth and their roots.
There were only four commandments from the Great Spirits:
1.Respect Mother Earth
2.Respect the Great Spirit
3.Respect our fellow man and woman
4.Respect for individual freedom
The way the native American quotes are expressed are below:
We must all stand together as a force of love. Be united NOW. There is only one way. Communication. Knowledge. Arm yourself with truth, love and perseverance. Extend your family. Join with others in giving. We are all related. People of the earth take back your heritage. I am not speaking of skin color or religion. Our heritage is this earth… Our heritage is also extended beyond this earth into the heavens where the spirit once lived before our birth into this world. You are bound to both.
THE TEN INDIAN COMMANDMENTS!
Treat the Earth and all that dwell thereon with respect!
Remain close to the Great Spirit
Show great respect for your fellow beings
Work together for the benefit of all mankind!
Give assistance and kindness wherever needed
Do what you know to be right
Look after the well-being of mind and body
Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good
Be truthful and honest at all times
Take full responsibility for your actions…..
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, “My son, the battle is between two “wolves” inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.“

So what can native American quotes be used for? In my opinion most native American quotes remind us about our true nature and re-connect us to our soul, rather than the ego-mind which always wants to dominate and rule our life. But this is a path of devolution not evolution as our souls radiate towards your Inner Expression of Love and Wisdom. And we don’t have a soul – we ARE the Soul. We radiate towards the Inner Source of creation - native American quotes call it Great Spirit.
